Message from the Chair

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, my pleasure knows no bounds to invite and welcome all the participants to the National Conference on Family Planning (NCFP) to be held on 18-19 March 2019 in Kathmandu, Nepal.  The theme for NCFP 2019 is “Family Planning: Reaching the Unreached” which aspires to provide a tremendous platform to improve the quality and reach of family planning services among adolescents, postpartum women, poor, marginalized and hard to reach groups.

The conference will host a number of executive sessions led by technical influencers in Family Planning and I earnestly encourage all aspirants to take this opportunity to participate and share your invaluable insights and knowledge.  I am buoyant with the thought that the conference would be an exceptional platform instilling you with unlimited benefits and would open new frontiers for the current family planning challenges in the varied landscape of Nepal healthcare. I look forward to seeing you all at the conference to exchange thoughts and ideas that will generate remarkable initiatives and contribute in enhancing access to family planning services.

I would like to take this opportunity to encourage you to submit abstracts and participate at the conference to take advantage of the most recent trends and milestones in Family Planning.  I would like to reiterate that the conference will provide an opening to share learning and way forward to ensue equitable access to quality family planning services for all in federal context of Nepal.
